The interest in panzer knife Taurus exceeded expectations

Taurus tank knife, which Mikov launched on the national holiday on October 28, 2020, has since been one of the most ordered items. The company will ship the first pieces at the beginning of December.

"The offer of a ride in a tank for the first 20 buyers was exhausted on the day of publication. Everyone who has joined this group of customers can expect information from us in the coming days on how and where they will be able to use this bonus, "said Martin David, the company's sales manager. 

The knife, which was made in cooperation with the command of the tank battalion on the basis of a design by Roman Hippík, by its construction refers to tank troops. It was launched in two series. The T0 series is intended exclusively for members of the 73rd Tank Battalion, the T1 series for the general public.

Taurus is made of N690 cutlery steel and is provided with a special DLC coating. Not only is it extremely abrasion-resistant, as it is used to protect the most stressed machine parts, but its black colour also prevents light reflections of the blade.

“We really appreciate the cooperation with the author of the design, Roman Hippík, and we look forward to introducing another knife according to his design in autumn. It will be called Storm and it will be a reminder of the first foreign mission of the then Czechoslovak Army in the Persian Gulf. Everyone who buys Storm will also contribute to the account of the Military Solidarity Fund, "concluded Martin David.
