Sweden - a Country in Northern Europe Where We Can Meet Together

Sweden is a Scandinavian Nordic country with a rich history. There was a time, in fact, when its history intersected with our history - during the Thirty Years' War Swedish troops (unsuccessfully) besieged Prague and Brno. But that's now history.

Today, Sweden is a thriving democratic country that we do not have to worry about because it has a long tradition of holding political neutrality. Even though it lies to the north, thanks to the Gulf Stream the Swedes don't have cold winters. However, this does not apply to the very north of the country, where the summer is basically an endless polar day, and in winter it turns into a polar night.

Sweden is a beautiful country and may become your holiday destination this summer. Maybe you want to explore where the famous director Ingmar Bergman lived, where the famous pop group ABBA came from or where the popular IKEA furniture is made.

However, you should know that spending a holiday in Sweden is, above all, about wandering through nature, which is exceptionally beautiful there. And if you want to enjoy long walks through the wild, a lot of tourist equipment may be required, including a knife.
