Mikulášovice and Mikov invite you to Knife Festival

On Saturday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m., the traditional Knife Festival will be inaugurated at the swimming pool in Mikulášovice. Visitors can look forward to a full day of rich cultural and sports programme, which will include, in addition to the swimming pool, a sports stadium and the Museum of the Knifemaking Tradition.

On Saturday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m., the traditional Knife Festival will be inaugurated at the swimming pool in Mikulášovice. Visitors can look forward to a full day of rich cultural and sports programme, which will include, in addition to the swimming pool, a sports stadium and the Museum of the Knifemaking Tradition.

One of the highlights of the festivities will be the presentation of a knife of the collector's series Football Legends, this time with a portrait of Jan Koller, and the subsequent football match in which the "old guard" of FC Mikulášovice will challenge a special team of legends led by international Jan Berger. 

The football stadium will also present the Army of the Czech Republic with close combat demonstrations, the Police of the Czech Republic will show their equipment and members of the Fire Rescue Corps will demonstrate the rescue of a person from a crashed car. Another Mikov novelty - the innovative Rescue Knife - will make its premiere in live deployment. 

Knife fans will certainly enjoy the free knife museum, knife and axe throwing demonstrations by European champion Jan Žižka, a sales stand with Mikov knives and other professional, sporting and cultural events.
