Looking back at 2019

This year is slowly over and this is an opportunity to look at what it has brought. It was a big year for Mikov.

A fundamental and important novelty came in January when our company bought Narex Bystrice hand tools manufacturer. The Mikov Group has expanded its offer beyond knives, office equipment and industrial fasteners, for example with chisels, screwdrivers or carving tools.

In terms of cutlery news, the year 2019 clearly belonged to kitchen knives. We have launched a complete Ruby set on the market, where everybody can choose from a total of ten knives, complete with oval steel.

Ruby knives are therefore more practical tools. The War Veteran project, which we started with the limited edition trench knife M-1917, is then categorized as an activity that we want to bring first of all. Having a new military knife will surely delight collectors, but also those who get help from the Military Solidarity Fund, where we pay 500 CZK from each knife sold.

And that's not all. In 2019 there were many seeming things - we started our regular blogging in February, where we bring you something new and interesting every week. And we plan to continue this in the next year 2020, but we are preparing a number of other innovations for you. 

There's something to look forward to.
